How can I add my SIA email to the iPhone / iPad Email App?

 

Answer:

Staff, Faculty and MA Students with an Institute email have the option to access their email using a mobile Email App. This article shows how to add an SIA email account to the iPhone / iPad Email App

 

  1. Go to your iPhone / iPad settings.

          2. Scroll down and look for the Apps.

        3. Go to 'Mail'.

          4. Click on 'Account' and 'Add Accounts'

          5. Choose 'Microsoft Exchange'.

         6. Enter your @sia.edu email address and in description you can write how you want to describe the email mail box. E.g. Sotheby’s Institute of Art, work mailbox, etc.)

         7. Select 'Sign in' from the option.

         8. Enter your password and click on 'Sign in'.

         9. You will have to complete the 2-step verification by entering the a code from authenticator app or picking up the call from microsoft and pressing "#" key or need to put code which came through microsoft in text depending on your settings.

 

       10. Select the items that you want to sync with your phone like Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Remainders and Notes then 'Save'.
