Question:
How do I check my Audio and Video in Zoom Meeting?
Answer:
You will be prompted to check your audio and video after joining the meeting.
- If you have logged in through the Zoom Meeting app
- If the meeting has not been started by host then you can click on 'Test Computer Audio'.
- You will be presented with the menu below.
i. Click on 'Test Speaker' to check the sound and that the correct output device has been selected.
ii. Click on 'Test Mic' to check if your Mic is working and see if the correct device is selected.
iii. Click on the 'Video' link on the Left tab to check and preview your video.
- If you are joining a meeting through the Zoom Meeting App that has already started
- You will be prompted to join meeting with or without video.
- Once you have joined the meeting and while waiting in lobby you can click on test audio to test your computer audio.
- When permitted to join the meeting click on 'Join with Computer Audio'. However before joining, you can still click on 'Test Speaker and Microphone' to perform a check.
- If you are joining through web, then once you get into the meeting.
- Click on join audio.
- Select join by computer audio.
- Click 'Allow' to permit Zoom use your microphone.
- To Launch the camera, click on Start video.
- Click 'Allow' to permit Zoom use your microphone.
