How do I setup an Alternate Mail Profile in Microsoft Outlook?

Answer:

Please follow the steps below to add an Alternate email Profile into Microsoft Outlook.

1.) First Click Start → Type in Control Panel →

2.) After opening Control Panel click on Mail →

3.) After Clicking Mail → Select Show Profiles →

4.) After clicking Show Profiles → Click Add →

5.) After Clicking ADD Choose a Name for the new Profile and click OK to proceed onto the next screen.

6.) On the ADD Account screen simply follow the on screen instructions and input your first and last name followed by your full email address. test@sia.com and put in your current password for that email account. After clicking Next your credentials will be checked by the server and if everything is successful you will see a series of check marks on the next screen.

Congrats you have just created an Alternate email profile!

For those who want to select a default profile on the start of Outlook please keep reading.

7.) As shown in the screenshot above you will see two options. One option allows you to select the profile you want which will start automatically at the start of outlook.

8.) The second option is to prompt for a profile to be used each time Outlook is opened which will display a dialog box to select which mail profile you would like to open.
