How can I Share files with OneDrive?

Answer:

All faculty, staff and students have the ability to browse the Service Catalog.

 

1. Open OneDrive in File Explorer and locate the file or folder you want to share. Right-click the file or folder to reveal the context menu and select “Share”.

2. Set the file permissions by selecting who you would like the link to work for and whether to allow editing.

3. To share the files directly, enter the email address(es) of the recipient(s) and add a message (optional) .Alternatively, select how you wish to share the file. E.g. copy the share Link to and past directly in a message.

4. The recipient of the link will receive an invitation to join the document or folder via email. Once they accept it, they will be able to access the shared file or folder using the shared link. Bookmark the link for easy access.
