I'm a Summer Academy student, faculty or staff member.  How do I activate my Canvas account?

 

Answer:

Summer Academy students, faculty and staff members will receive an email that will allow them to activate their Canvas accounts.

  1. When a Canvas account is created for you, you will receive an email from notifications@instructure.com with the subject line “Finish Registration: Canvas."  If you cannot find the email, please check your spam folder.
  2. Open the email and click the “Click here to finish the registration process" link.  The Canvas Welcome Aboard page will be displayed.
  3. Enter a valid password, select your time zone and click Register.
  4. Your Canvas Dashboard will be displayed.
