How do I enable Third-Party Session Cookies for Kaltura?

 

Answer:

This article shows you how to enable 3rd-party cookies in various browsers, to access Kaltura videos.

 

Safari macOS:

1. On your computer, open the "Safari browser".
2. Click "System Settings"  from the Safari menu. Located at the top-left corner.

3. Choose the "Privacy" tab and ensure that both "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" are both unchecked.

4. Restart Safari. Done, you have enabled cookies in Safari on your Mac computer.

 

Safari on iPhone/iPad:

1. To enable cookies on your mobile phone or tablet, Go to your device "Settings".

 

 

2. Scroll down to "Safari" and Tap on it.

 

3. Scroll down to "Privacy&Security" to ensure that both "Prevent cross-site tracking" and "Block all cookies" are both unchecked. 

4. Please note! You will need to restart Safari before the settings take full effect.

 

Google Chrome:

1. On your phone or computer open "Google Chrome".

 

2. Click or tap on the "Customize and control Google Chrome" button from the top-right corner of the window. It looks like three dots arranged vertically. In the menu that opens, go to "Settings". 

 

3. Locate the "Privacy and security" settings on the left scroll bar and click "Site settings". 

 

4.  In the "Permissions" section, click on "Cookies and site data".

 

5. Set the "Block third-party cookies" switch to "off".
