Question:
How do I access my class Zoom recordings?
Answer:
Lecture recordings are published to the relevant course Module in Canvas. It can take up to 24 hrs for a recording to be published and made avaialble.
- Log in to Canvas and click on the course where you want to watch recording.
- Go to “Modules” of the course.
- Navigate to the week and day on which the class was held and recorded.
- Click on the “Zoom meeting link + Recordings” and recording shall be available.
5. We suggest using google chrome for Canvas as it supports Canvas and all of it plugins.

Background: There is a full team available to help you while you are teaching online. Below is a list of ways to get help.
- Program Support Manager: Each class has a dedicated Program Support Manager. While this person will not be able to attend your full class, they are on call and will be able to join before or during your Zoom meeting if you have any issues.
- IT Chat: If you are having issues using Canvas or need immediate help, open a chat with IT by clicking the ? icon in the left navigation of your course. IT Chat has a full support team available from 9:00 am BST – 5:00 pm EST. This is the quickest way to get help with your class.
- Support Ticket: Email ithelp@sia.edu to open a ticket and a member of the team will be in touch to help you with your request.
- Sage Knowledge Base: Spend some time reviewing the Sage Service Knowledge Base to find a list of articles and FAQs to help you if you’re stuck. You can also start a chat with IT or open a ticket from the Sage Service portal if you don’t find the information you need.
